Explain what happened:
I just want to start off by saying I’m genuinely sorry for going OOC during the scene. I understand that it breaks immersion and isn’t how situations are supposed to be handled, and that’s completely on me. I take full accountability for that mistake.
From my perspective, I had come to the area for the candle lighting and wasn’t even supposed to be inside the school at all, especially since I didn’t have a school ID at the time and already had a ticket open to get a new one. After my head popped, I ended up being teleported inside the school, which confused me because that wasn’t where I was originally or supposed to be. It also said sumn about WL Strip for Breach of School ROE bringing a handgun and ski mask inside the building. I also want to apologize to the staff for this and it won’t happen again.
When the officers approached me and told me to go back to class, I tried to explain what happened in /OOC instead of just playing it out in character. Looking back on it, I realize that was the wrong move. Even if the situation felt confusing or didn’t make sense to me at the time, I should have stayed in character and let the scene play out instead of going OOC.
I understand now that the officers were reacting to what they saw in RP, and it was my responsibility to respond the same way. I didn’t mean to disrupt the scene or make things harder for anyone involved, but I can see how going OOC did exactly that.
Moving forward, no matter the situation, I’ll stay in character and handle any issues like bugs or confusion after the scene through the proper channels. Again, I sincerely apologize and appreciate the opportunity to learn from this. It won’t happen again.
